Cada año, la Cámara selecciona un individuo destacado (u organización) como su Ciudadano del Año”. El codiciado premio se presenta en la Cena Anual de la Cámara en el Shores Country Club Miami. Organizador y artes Comunidad activista Susan Ackley fue honrado en el evento de 2014, que se celebró en febrero y al que asistieron Cámara y residentes de la comunidad, así como Citizen previo de los beneficiarios en el año.
